How fast is fast? Businesses have been able to speed up existing workflows within by using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate tasks that are usually repetitive and tedious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gartner has started to use the term<\/a> ‘hyperautomation’ to describe automation that pushes even further. “Enterprise architecture and technology innovation leaders lack a defined strategy to scale automation with tactical and strategic goals. They must deliver end-to-end automation beyond RPA by combining complementary technologies to augment business processes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gartner says that hyperautomation combines standard RPA with intelligent gusiness management software (iBPMS) and artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alok Bansal<\/a>, Country Head of Visionet India, said that<\/a> “hyperautomation is one of the top technology trends of 2020. When organizations adopt digital as a way of life, hyper-automation is a key which turns high-touch processes into low-touch and eventually no-touch processes. The advent of RPA has become a beacon of hope for businesses looking to increase performance and profitability, and rising costs. Use of automations \/ applying algorithms to perform routine, repeated, high-volume and rule-based activities, the system eases the pressure on humans.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nate Nead<\/a>, CEO of DEV.co, said that<\/a> “Hyper-automation enables machines to automate the further implementation of additional automation without the input of human assistance. It is often said that machines running on this type of technology can not only learn 10,000 times faster, they can do so without ever missing it on the next iteration.”<\/p>\n
