Immersive-Experience enabling technologies include Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality, and Digital Twins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/smarterwithgartner\/gartner-top-10-strategic-technology-trends-for-2020\/\">Gartner ranks the Immersive Experience<\/a> as one of the top 10 Strategic Technologies for 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use cases for <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.g2.com\/immersive-experience\">immersive experiences include<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>E-Commerce<\/strong> &#8211; on-line retailers let users preview products interactively or use augmented reality to show a product in the context of a real-life environment.<\/li><li><strong>Architecture and Design<\/strong> &#8211; Technology provides visualizations of what  a design will look like and data analysis can predict how a model will perform under specified conditions.  Simulations allow designers to test and refine their plans.<\/li><li><strong>Engineering, Maintenance and Repair<\/strong> &#8211; Augmented Reality headsets let engineers make repairs in the field and visualize the steps for repair. Design engineers build digital prototypes to simulate real world conditions to test their plans.<\/li><li><strong>Healthcare <\/strong>&#8211; Augmented and virtual reality assist with the training of doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers. AR assists healthcare workers with how to use equipment.  Complex medical procedures can be simulated and used for training purposes.<\/li><li><strong>Travel <\/strong>&#8211; Rather than real-life experiences, the travel industry can provide virtual experiences.  It is possible to check out your destination prior to leaving and inspect things like hotel rooms and restaurants.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/analyst\/25698\/David-Cearley\">David Cearley<\/a>, vice president and Gartner Fellow, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/newsroom\/press-releases\/2018-10-15-gartner-identifies-the-top-10-strategic-technology-trends-for-2019\">said that<\/a> &#8220;the multimodal experience will connect people with the digital world across hundreds of edge devices that surround them, including traditional computing devices, wearables, automobiles, environmental sensors and consumer appliances. The multichannel experience will use all human senses as well as advanced computer senses (such as heat, humidity and radar) across these multimodal devices.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div class=\"lightsocial_element\"><a class=\"lightsocial_a\"
