One area that researchers are investigating is the use of graph data bases with AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graph databases are particularly useful to show relationships and associations between things.  Graph data can optimize the way that certain kinds of data is represented, and it can provide better accuracy and even help AI models provide a deeper degree of &#8216;explainability&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/1806.01261.pdf\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/pdf\/1806.01261.pdf\">Google data scientists wrote<\/a> in a paper that &#8220;graphs, generally, are a representation which supports arbitrary (pairwise) relational structure, and computations over graphs afford a strong relational inductive bias beyond that which convolutional and recurrent layers can provide.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jameskobielus\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jameskobielus\/\">James Kobielus<\/a>, tech industry analyst, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.informationweek.com\/big-data\/ai-machine-learning\/graph-based-ai-enters-the-enterprise-mainstream\/a\/d-id\/1340141?\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.informationweek.com\/big-data\/ai-machine-learning\/graph-based-ai-enters-the-enterprise-mainstream\/a\/d-id\/1340141?\">wrote for InformationWeek<\/a> that &#8220;building on but not replacing these first two waves, AI\u2019s future focuses on graph modeling. Graphs encode intelligence in the form of models that describe the linked contexts within which intelligent decisions are executed. They can illuminate the shifting relationships among users, nodes, applications, edge devices and other entities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><a
