Digital documents used for sharing, collaboration, and authenticating by electronic signature, are three areas that have been helping businesses deal with disruptions and a trend towards increased remote work.  Digital transformation is also helping businesses accelerate innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cio.com\/resources\/216394\/forrester-report-how-digital-document-processes-are-shifting-from-best-practice-to-business-necessit\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cio.com\/resources\/216394\/forrester-report-how-digital-document-processes-are-shifting-from-best-practice-to-business-necessit\">study by Forrester<\/a> found that digitization of documents has helped businesses in the following three ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Business Continuity.<\/strong>  72 percent of businesses say digital document processes help them to maintain business resilience.<\/li><li><strong>Improved Service<\/strong>. 47 percent of businesses say that digitized documents help them find and process information faster, helping them provide better support to their customers.<\/li><li><strong>Accelerated Transactions.<\/strong> Digital capabilities like electronic signatures are helping businesses speed up their processes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forrester.com\/bio\/ted-schadler?id=BIO1707\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.forrester.com\/bio\/ted-schadler?id=BIO1707\">Ted Schadler<\/a>, VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester, <a href=\"https:\/\/go.forrester.com\/blogs\/the-pandemic-recession-demands-a-digital-response\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/go.forrester.com\/blogs\/the-pandemic-recession-demands-a-digital-response\/\">wrote that<\/a> &#8220;Digital transformation was never optional. But most firms treated it that way, applying digital technology in dribs and drabs \u2014 until COVID-19 shuttered economies and forever altered the patterns of life and work and commerce. That is, until uncertainty and volatility became the new normal. Companies leapt into adaptive mode. And they seized digital to do it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div class=\"lightsocial_element\"><a class=\"lightsocial_a\"
