So, is fragmentation the gateway to business freedom or the road to chaos? The answer often depends on a company\u2019s ability to manage complexity and adapt to continual change. The modular approach offers speed and innovation, but requires more careful planning and ongoing maintenance. The dream of composability is within reach, but organizations must balance their desire for flexibility against the risks of integration headaches and creeping software bloat. In the end, the mosaic approach is shaping up to be both the new normal and a test of enterprise software discipline.<\/p>\n
