Collaboration technologies have consistently been shown to save companies money on travel, office space and IT spending. \u00a0Collaboration helps staff members locate information more quickly and be better informed about both their companies and their job tasks. \u00a0Collaboration is also great at bringing focus to projects, managing schedule, assigning tasks, and bringing together people from many remote locations.<\/p>\n

Despite the potential benefits though, most companies haven’t tried to use collaboration tools and are skeptical as to whether they will work for them. \u00a0Forrester Research<\/a> tracks 12 identified potential benefits of the use of collaborative technologies. \u00a0But 64 percent say that they realize less than four of the potential benefits. \u00a0 Those 12 benefits, listed in the order of most cited as being a benefit derived from Collaborative technologies, are as follows:<\/p>\n
