David Cearley<\/a>, vice president and Gartner fellow said <\/a>that\u00a0“Cloud computing is a major technology trends that has permeated the market over the last two years.”<\/p>\n

Gartner identifies the following five trends now occurring in the cloud computing market:<\/p>\n

  1. Cloud customers are creating more consistent strategies for evaluating and comparing Cloud vendors<\/li>\n
  2. In the short term, strategies are being devised that create hybrid combinations of both cloud capabilities and existing on-premise solutions<\/li>\n
  3. Cloud brokers are appearing and will work to accelerate the adoption of cloud computing<\/li>\n
  4. Increasingly cloud application performance and quality \u00a0will improve as vendors design software\u00a0from scratch specifically for the cloud<\/li>\n
  5. Cloud computing data center best practices and efficiencies will trickle over and \u00a0influence the design and operation of corporate data centers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
