The survey was taken among 70 senior records managers at an ARMA conference in October 2006.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/formtek.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/RecordsManagement.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n55 percent said that their companies were dedicating less than 5 percent of their IT budget towards improving Records Management and eDiscovery.<\/p>\n<p>Among those organizations that graded themselves as &#8216;perfect&#8217;, 94 percent said that they had a project management system in place around their Records Management program, indicating that a structured process encourages success around compliance.<\/p>\n<p>The complete report covers the results of survey questions priorities<\/li>\n<li>the changing role of the records and        information life cycle management environment in
