{"id":3415,"date":"2012-12-03T07:00:09","date_gmt":"2012-12-03T15:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.formtek.com\/blog\/?p=3415"},"modified":"2012-12-03T07:00:09","modified_gmt":"2012-12-03T15:00:09","slug":"mobile-small-businesses-leverage-mobile-for-competitive-advantage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/formtek.com\/blog\/mobile-small-businesses-leverage-mobile-for-competitive-advantage\/","title":{"rendered":"Mobile: Small Businesses Leverage Mobile for Competitive Advantage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>94 percent of small and medium-sized (SMB) business owners say that they can&#8217;t live without their mobile devices. \u00a0They report higher efficiency when using their smartphones, tablets and notebooks. \u00a067 percent say that their company would competitively lose out if they did not use mobile devices. \u00a0And 60 percent say that mobile devices improves company-internal communications, such as between staff members and managers, and also external communication with customers. \u00a0Those are the results of a recent <a title=\"Report on Mobile technology by CDG\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cdwnewsroom.com\/two-thirds-of-small-business-mobile-device-users-believe-their-company-would-lose-competitive-ground-without-mobile-devices\/\" target=\"_blank\">report on mobile technology from CD<\/a>W.<\/p>\n<p>Other findings of the report include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>28 percent <\/strong>of small businesses say they have mobile web sites<\/li>\n<li><strong>23 percent<\/strong> say that they market their business with text messaging<\/li>\n<li><strong>17 percent<\/strong> of companies say that they offer mobile coupons<\/li>\n<li><strong>14 percent <\/strong>offer mobile apps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Jill Billhorn bio\" href=\"www.linkedin.com\/pub\/jill-billhorn\/3\/b49\/545\" target=\"_blank\">Jill Billhorn<\/a>, CDW vice president for small business, said that\u00a0&#8220;CDW&#8217;s report says that small business users consider productivity and business apps on mobile devices to be game changers that make them more efficient and competitive. \u00a0They want still more apps to help them manage unique aspects of their businesses, and the prospect is for dramatic growth in tablet use. That expanding demand, though, also means there is a growing need for solutions to manage and secure mobile devices.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div class=\"lightsocial_element\"><a class=\"lightsocial_a\"
