InformationWeek is reporting <\/a>that the ECM market, a market that many feel has become saturated, hasn’t even begun to take off yet.\u00a0 They argue that many medium-sized companies that have been content to rely on shared file servers that make up a huge untapped market.\u00a0 Fears about compliance, corporate governance, security and risk mitigation are all driving a huge interest in ECM.\u00a0 And big name companies like Microsoft, IBM and EMC are all investing heavily in the market.\u00a0 All of that coupled with products that are becoming easier to use and have lower cost of ownership, are making ECM a market that is ready to boom.<\/p>\n
