Blacket Review of teh Internet of Things<\/p><\/div>\n

The British government recently published a detailed report about the impact of the Internet of Things (IoT) on government, something that they’re calling the ‘second digital revolution’. \u00a0The report is called the Blackett Review<\/a>, named after the Nobel Prize winner Baron Blackett<\/a>, a physicist who is known for his operations research contributions during World War II<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The report looks at how the Internet of Things is expected to radically transform<\/a> the technologies in government, energy, transport and healthcare sectors. \u00a0While much of the data in the report are references to other studies, the Blackett Review does a good job of pulling together information about the current state of IoT. \u00a0The report also identifies many areas, particularly from the perspective of governments, \u00a0that the technology is expected to affect.<\/p>\n
