“Enterprise mobility will continue to be one of the hottest topics in IT, and high on the list of priorities for all CIOs”, predicts Ovum<\/a> in their 2015 Enterprise Mobility report.<\/p>\n

Enterprise mobile apps have lagged far behind consumer apps. \u00a0Many independent software developers just haven’t tried because the consumer app market is easy to enter and has been relatively lucrative. \u00a0Only 15 percent of third party app development<\/a> has been devoted to enterprise related development. \u00a0Techcrunch calls<\/a> enterprise mobile application development a $100 billion opportunity, just waiting.<\/p>\n

Part of the problem to date too has simply been that mobile app development is harder. \u00a0While there have been great successes, there have also been many failures.<\/p>\n
