Central to the Data First movement is the\u00a0ability to assess the nature of a problem by gathering\u00a0as much data as possible about the problem\u00a0domain. \u00a0Data combined with analysis and profiling can help businesses\u00a0fully understand issues and risks. \u00a0During assessment\u00a0possible solutions or courses of action can be defined and mapped out.<\/p>\n

During the improve phase the solution plan derived from the\u00a0results of the assessment is developed, tested and rolled out.<\/p>\n

During the control phase the solution is maintained and monitored.<\/p>\n
