Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is the elimination of repetitive and menial tasks by software and hardware automation. \u00a0The goal is to free up workers from mundane activities to do tasks that require decision making and innovation. \u00a0RPA is expected to affect about 6-8 percent of the Business Process Management market by 2017 — currently RPA spending accounts for less than 1 percent of that market, according to a report by the Everest Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n
