benefits, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/doc\/3115919\/gartner-survey-shows-digital-business\">a survey by Gartner.<\/a>\u00a0 But taking the leap from a &#8216;planner&#8217; to a &#8216;doer&#8217; is hard.<\/p>\n<p>Business leaders say that the two biggest challenges that they have with digital business are managing security and coming to grips with huge amounts of data being collected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/doc\/3115919\/gartner-survey-shows-digital-business\">Gartner identifies<\/a> four tiers based of businesses based on their level of expertise relative to digital business and has advice for each of those tiers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Digital Luddites<\/strong> &#8211; Worry! \u00a0Your competitors are using new technologies like IoT and analytics that may steal your existing customers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Dreamers<\/strong> &#8211; Businesses that want to go digital and have plans in the works, now is a good time to jump in. \u00a0When getting started it may be good to mimic others that have been successful.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Dabblers<\/strong> &#8211; You&#8217;ve done some work with digital, but don&#8217;t stop now. \u00a0You need to be able to sustain the work that you&#8217;ve done and, to make it all worth the effort, to turn your digital insights into actions and revenues.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Leaders<\/strong> &#8211; Congratulations! \u00a0But don&#8217;t stop now!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div class=\"lightsocial_element\"><a class=\"lightsocial_a\"
