The types of materials usable in 3D printing are increasing rapidly. \u00a0New printing materials like rubber-like flexible filaments and conductive graphene are changing the way people think about 3D printing and expanding the range of types of objects that can be created.<\/p>\n

For example,\u00a0Dr. Elena Polyakova<\/a>, CEO of Graphene Laboratories, said that<\/a> \u201cgraphene-enhanced polymers are great conductors of electricity. We will need many different materials to print optical elements, energy storage devices, transistors, etc. Graphene composites can be adapted for many of these elements. Needless to say, speed and accuracy of deposition techniques must be improved. The next generation of hardware that can print with dozens of materials must be created.”<\/p>\n
