and Amazon have set the bar high for what consumers expect from businesses in terms of<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Digital_transformation\" target=\"_blank\"> digital interactions.<\/a> \u00a0Many businesses realize that their current processes need to change, but many are struggling with how they can even begin to transform how they do business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20160516005143\/en\/Progress-Survey-Finds-Businesses-Years-Digital-Inroads\" target=\"_blank\">The following results<\/a> were captured in a recent survey by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.progress.com\/digital-transformation\/customers-talk-digital-transformation\" target=\"_blank\">Progress<\/a>, a cloud and application development vendor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>96 percent of organizations say that adoption of digital technologies is crucial to their survival<\/li>\n<li>62 percent of organizations feel that their organization is &#8216;in denial&#8217; about seriously transforming to being digital<\/li>\n<li>55 percent said that if their organization doesn&#8217;t adopt more digital technology over the next year that they are likely to suffer financial consequences.<br \/>\n86 percent say that they have only two years to adopt digital changes.<\/li>\n<li>59 percent of organizations said that they felt that they were too late in adopting digital technologies<\/li>\n<li>70 percent point to their IT group as the culprit for slowing down change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div
