What if you could do an across-the-board productivity boost for all knowledge-worker type employees? A report from Aberdeen Research<\/a> suggests one path for doing just that. Improve their ability to search and find the information that they’re looking for. The Aberdeen Research report finds that more than 6 hours from an employee’s standard forty hour work week are spent non-productively. By deploying technologies like enterprise search, Aberdeen found that “best-in-class” companies were able to improve productivity by 63%. They also measured a 27% reduction in time-to-decision and 21% increase in gross margin.<\/p>\n
