“Every company is a technology company, no matter what product or service it provides. The companies that embrace this fact are the ones that shape our world,” wrote\u00a0Stephenie Stone<\/a> for Forbes<\/a>, CIO at M+W Group.<\/p>\n

CEOs are getting the message. \u00a0In a recent survey of CEOs by Fortune Magazine<\/a>, CEOs report that technology is on top of their thinking. \u00a071 percent said that they consider their company to be a technology company. Their technology focus also means that their\u00a0top concerns are technology related, like being able to keep up with technological changes (73 percent) and cyber security (61 percent).<\/p>\n

Which technologies are companies most focused on? 81 percent said that they thought that the area of artificial intelligence and machine learning was either “extremely important” or “very important” for their business. \u00a0Other areas of interest include cloud computing, mobile computing, and the Internet.<\/p>\n

A report by Korn Ferry<\/a> also found that business leaders are looking for technology to help their business. \u00a0The Korn Ferry results are more dystopian though when business leaders were questioned about what they think of the relationship between workers and technology \u00a0and how it will change in the future.<\/p>\n
