{"id":767,"date":"2009-01-22T07:00:14","date_gmt":"2009-01-22T15:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.formtek.com\/blog\/?p=767"},"modified":"2009-01-22T07:00:14","modified_gmt":"2009-01-22T15:00:14","slug":"oracle-tops-in-infrastructure-from-gartners-view","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/formtek.com\/blog\/oracle-tops-in-infrastructure-from-gartners-view\/","title":{"rendered":"Oracle:  Tops in Infrastructure from Gartner&#039;s View"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oracle has been portrayed as having a view on software application focus that has been muddled by the integration of its many acquisitions.\u00a0 That&#8217;s not how Gartner sees things though for its report on Oracle in the area of Infrastructure.\u00a0 Oracle now tops three of Gartner&#8217;s Magic Quadrant diagrams:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for New Systematic SOA Application Projects<\/li>\n<li>Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for SOA Composite Application Projects<\/li>\n<li>Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Back-End Application Integration Projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Given Oracle&#8217;s background with the mammoth Oracle Fusion project, it&#8217;s perhaps not surprising that all of these wins center around their work on application integration. Oracle&#8217;s strength remains with infrastructure and the plumbing that powers enterprise applications.<\/p>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div class=\"lightsocial_element\"><a
