The use of SaaS is increasing.\u00a0 21 percent of enterprises say<\/a> they currently use SaaS or are in the middle of a SaaS pilot. Another 26 percent say that they are considering the use of SaaS within a year.\u00a0 Those are the results of a survey by Forrester Research.<\/p>\n

The economic times are an encouragement to companies to try SaaS becuase it requires no up-front capital spending.\u00a0 The following thirteen categories of SaaS applications are showing growth:<\/p>\n
