While global economies have been staggering since last summer, Alfresco, the UK-based maker of Open Source ECM, may be raising some eyebrows with their report of a blow-out year for 2009 — 103 percent year-over-year revenue growth for their fiscal year that ended February 28, 2009.<\/p>\n

Alfresco software products include enterprise and web content management, collaboration and document management tools.\u00a0 Formtek is an Alfresco Gold Integration Partner.<\/p>\n

Other Alfresco 2008 highlights included<\/p>\n

* Added more than 270 enterprise customers, including FedEx, Fox Broadcasting, NYPD, OSHA, State of Kansas, Sun Microsystems, Virgin Mobile;
\n* Doubled community membership with more than 90,000 customers, developers and partners;
\n* Surpassed the 1.5 million software downloads mark;
\n* Increased staff by 28 percent;
\n* Added 90 new partners to global SI network; and,
\n* Secured 18 OEM partnerships, including embedding Alfresco in Adobe\u00ae LiveCycle\u2122 Enterprise Suite to deliver content services capabilities.<\/p>\n

John Powell, CEO of Alfresco Software, commented that “Based on our momentum in 2008, our current sales pipeline and plans for product development, we expect 2009 to be another year of substantial growth and we will continue to expand geographically to meet increasing customer demand.”<\/p>\n
