In a few years you will have to participate in one or more blockchain solutions because they&#8217;re just more efficient and lower cost.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.supplychain247.com\/article\/why_blockchain_is_a_game_changer_for_the_supply_chain\">How can Blockchain help logistics<\/a>?:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monitoring Supply Chain<\/strong> &#8211; Track the quantity and movement of assets like pallets, trailers and containers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitoring Documentation<\/strong> &#8211; Track purchase orders, changes orders, receipts, shipping and trade-related documents<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitoring Processes<\/strong> &#8211; Track process to verify processing steps, like for certification of organic or kosher handling<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shared Information<\/strong> &#8211; Manufacturers, vendors and suppliers have access to process, assembly, delivery and maintenance information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.idc.com\/getdoc.jsp?containerId=PRF004827\">Bill Fearnley, Jr<\/a>., research director for IDC&#8217;s Worldwide Blockchain Strategies, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/article\/3249252\/emerging-technology\/blockchain-will-be-the-killer-app-for-supply-chain-management-in-2018.html\">said that<\/a> &#8220;if you build a blockchain ledger within [a single company] that has a certain value. The real value for blockchain is when you use distributed electronic ledgers and data to connect with suppliers, customers and intermediaries.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"lightsocial_container\"><div
