The use of the cloud for business intelligence (BI) is growing strongly, particularly by small organizations and within the financial services industry, according to a survey by Dresner Advisory Services<\/a>.\u00a0 Adoption is nearly double compared to 2016.<\/p>\n

Sales and Marketing people are especially enamored by the use of BI.\u00a0 More than 90 percent of sales and marketing teams say that Cloud BI is essential for their work.\u00a0 AWS is the first choice for Cloud BI, but Microsoft Azure is a close second, followed by Google Cloud and IBM Bluemix.<\/p>\n

Howard Dresner<\/a>, founder of Dresner Advisory Services, said that “deployment of cloud BI applications continues to grow steadily, with organizations citing substantial benefits realized over traditional on-premises implementations.”<\/p>\n
