Artificial Intelligence is the imitation of intelligent human behavior by a machine or software algorithm.\u00a0 “Applied AI” is specific to a particular task like managing finances. “General AI” is less specific and describes a system that can mimic or perform any kind of task that a human is capable of solving.<\/p>\n

Machine Learning is a subset of AI, but it has recently become a very popular field of AI development, and is used for things like understanding natural speech and recognizing images.\u00a0 A type of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, simulates the neurons and synopses of the human brain in its approach to processing data.\u00a0 Deep Learning general requires vast amounts of data that need to be processed in order to train the system as to how it can classify or find patterns in data.<\/p>\n

Patrick Nguyen<\/a>, chief technology officer at [24]7.ai., explained that<\/a> \u201cAI is any technology that enables a system to demonstrate human-like intelligence. Machine Learning is one type of AI that uses mathematical models trained on data to make decisions. As more data becomes available, ML models can make better decisions.”<\/p>\n
