Increasingly people are wearing their electronics.\u00a0 While Google Glass has lust it’s luster, people are putting electronics on their wrists and ears in record numbers.<\/p>\n

Gartner predicts that more than 225 million wearable devices will be shipped this year.\u00a0 Thats a 26 percent increase over 2018.\u00a0 Users will spend more than $42 billion this year on wearable devices.\u00a0 And it’s not all smartwatches.\u00a0 Only about one quarter are smartwatches — $16.2 billion.\u00a0 Ear-word devices, like earbuds, are rapidly becoming popular.<\/p>\n

Non-consumer wearables also offer great promise, especially in the area of health care<\/a>.\u00a0 Research shows that clinicians spend half of their time examining data.\u00a0 Being able to look at and summarize the results of data more quickly , especially in a hands-free way can make clinical data analysis quicker and more accurate.<\/p>\n
