Businesses are struggling keeping up with the pace of change. That’s the finding of Gartner’s 2Q19 report about what organizations say is the top risk that they’re concerned with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

71 percent of organizations say that the Pace of Change is the key risk that they are facing. Executives across healthcare, insurance and industrials all share this same concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executives worry about being disrupted by more nimple competitors and failing to be able to keep up with client needs and demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matt Shinkman<\/a>, managing vice president at Gartner, said that<\/a> “Organizations are concerned with the pace of business change and vulnerability to disruption. Part of the reason they may feel this risk so acutely is related concerns around their own operations, including digitalization strategies and an inadequate talent pipeline… Although the pace of business change is the top concern among organizations, we see a lack of tangible action among many organizations to address it “<\/p>\n
