identified three categories of trends that they see across businesses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Analyze<\/strong> &#8211; Identify the sources of data and processes that use the data<\/li><li><strong>Organize <\/strong>&#8211; Businesses are creating teams dedicated to analyzing data<\/li><li><strong>Apply <\/strong>&#8211; Businesses are looking at how new technologies like AI and blockchain can be applied to their data to gain competitive advantage.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked to identify their top challenges, businesses cite the businesses<\/a> should focus on to improve data management:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Data Sourcing<\/strong> &#8211; Ensure that maintained data is high quality and accurate<\/li><li><strong>Data Processing<\/strong> &#8211; Enable processing and integration with a wide variety of data types<\/li><li><strong>Data Analytics<\/strong> &#8211; Structure analytics and metrics around corporate objectives<\/li><li><strong>Data Security<\/strong> &#8211; Develop processes and tools which minimize risks from data loss or breaches.<\/li><\/ul>\n<div
