Continuous Intelligence: Real-Time Decisions and Analytics
Continuous Intelligence (CI) is an analytics approach to real-time digital services. Businesses increasingly have access to real-time data from products, services, applications, and infrastructure. Traditionally analytics systems would collect and aggregate data from many sources, store the data in a centralized repository, and then analyze it. But centralized collection of data tends to be slow and expensive, and the analytic insights derived from centralized systems often are dated by the time they became available.

Gartner predicts that by 2022 more than half of new business systems will include Continuous Intelligence to enable real-time decision making.
