Cloud Computing: AI and Machine Learning Workloads Growing Most Quickly
Despite worries of security, businesses are moving their data to the cloud. But concerns are reducing. A survey by MIT Management Review sponsored by Google found that nearly three-quarters of businesses said that their confidence in cloud security had improved. The authors of the report say that there has been a shift in trust and that now the public cloud actually has more advantages than on-premise cloud computing. About one quarter of enterprise workloads are running in the cloud now and that is expected to grow to 64 percent by 2019.
Data storage is the most commonly deployed type of workload. AI and Machine Learning cloud workloads are the fastest growing. The report expects that cloud deployments of AI, analytics and Machine Learning will double by 2019. The authors said that “machine learning is a natural fit for the flexibility, scalability and integration capabilities provided by the cloud because it requires so much data and computing power.”
The management of Internet of Things (IoT) data in the cloud is also expected to grow rapidly over the next two years. The huge amount of IoT data generated from sensors, much of which will be unstructured data, is also expected to grow very quickly.

Technology is growing fast and especially machine learning and ai technology is growing most quickly. the faith in cloud security has grown as it provides lots of facilities. The adaptation of AI is seen in the major IT firms.
