ECM Consolidation (Continued)

By Dick Weisinger

In previous blogs I’ve commented on consolidation in the ECM (Enterprise COntent Management) space.  This year there has been a large number of mergers and acquisitions to ECM.  And the activity has prompted frequent speculation of other potential activity.

Yesterday in a Motley Fool article “In the M&A Zone” by Tom Tauli, Tom speculates that Interwoven (IWOV) is ripe as a candidate for take over.  Oracle and Hewlett-Packard are again mentioned as possible buyers.  Oracle and HP have also been listed as candidates for acquiring Open Text.
