Today Formtek and Dynatrek announced an agreement to collaborate in the creation of enterprise solutions that combine the expertise of the two companies in the areas of structured and unstructured data management.

Dynatrek, headquartered in Tokyo, has long-term expertise in the area of building soltuions based on structured data stores.  They have developed a unique and patented algorithm for aggregating data across many heterogenous relational databases.  The business application data sources can be based on Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server or DB2, it doesn’t matter.  The data will be found, transformed and aggregated into a consistent presentation.

Formtek provides business solutions in the area of unstructured data and Content Management.

Dynatrek database aggregation is fast, cost effective and easy to use.  Traditional datawarehousing and ETI data migration tools can be very expensive and their use require frequent data transfers and synchronizations of large volumes of data.  Because of this, Dynatrek works especially well with queries across very large databases.

Examples where the Dynatrek database aggregation technology is especially effective include:

– 360-degree dashboards derived from multiple corporate data sources
* product data
* sales pipeline
* customer data
* asset and asset location data
* supplier parts and materials data

– Financial Data / Compliance / SOX / Governance
* Consolidation of data from across subsidiaries
* Tool for due diligence for combined data related to a merger or acquisition

We think the business applications that will result from the new Dynatrek and Formtek alliance will be unique in their ability to effectively address both structured and unstructured data
