Formtek EDM Connector Integration between Alfresco and AutoCAD now Certified for
AutoCAD 2025/2026

The Formtek EDM Connector is an AutoCAD plug-in that allows synchronized interaction between the AutoCAD application and the Alfresco content repository. The EDM Connector is a component of the Formtek Engineering Data Management (EDM) Solution for Alfresco Content Services (ACS). It utilizes the engineering content model attributes from the Formtek EDM Module to provide management of engineering drawings directly and securely from the AutoCAD application.

New in Formtek EDM Connector 4.0 and 3.4:

EDM Connector version 4.0 is this first release to fully address the AutoCAD 2025/2026 changes while version 3.4 provides continued support for AutoCAD releases 2017-2024. Both releases offer enhanced search performance, a new search form Clear button, improved Upload on the Close and Quit behavior, and several bug fixes / error corrections. Version 3.4 also has a brand-new installer that no longer requires an administrator password.

Versions 4.0 and 3.4 require the Formtek EDM Module 4.3.x software, which is compatible with ACS 23.x and 25.1. Formtek customers and partners can access release documentation in Knowledge Base Articles 659 and 665 in the Formtek Online Support portal.
